My Newest Miniature!

"Pantoll Sunset" 2013, Acrylic on Canvas, 4Hx6Lx.75W"

I'm hoping to get some pics up of older work, just to have a slight compilation. But since I'm focusing on painting, that's kind of on the back burner.

Here is an updated picture of my bubble painting, work in progress. Progress slowed recently due to running out of supplies for some of the texture. But here it is so far.

After 2 weeks of having the new studio and 1 week late since it has been completely clear from equipment that was stored there, I have finally taken pictures of my new studio!

Senior Exhibition!

It was amazing seeing my artwork up on the wall in the gallery. It was packed with people and it was fantastic! Here are some photos of well the works I put in the show, and though all of my photos I took on the actual opening were corrupted, I took some after.
I hope you enjoy what you see!

Hey All,
Sorry I haven't posted anything new in awhile. I have accidently let blogging and photographing my work lately slide due to finishing up school and moving home. Pictures and posts about my last show to come shortly and some good photos of work to come shortly as well.

Thank you for all the patience.

Senior Show Marywood University

Next Saturday is my senior show. It's what I have been working towards over the past 4 years. As I keep saying, and how I thoroughly feel, I could care less about graduation but this show is important.

Decoding Spaces Show

Last night seeing my art hanging in a gallery was amazing. It was great to hear people talking about my pieces and even better to hear when they understood what I was representing and liked what they saw (whether they said it to my face or I just over heard it).
What an experience it was to have to speak about the piece to strangers. Definitely out of my comfort zone, but I enjoyed it.

Here's the work I hung in this gallery (all the work hanging was on sale):

First Sight of Denver (2012)
10x12
(Selling for $50.00)
Underwater Aquarium (2012)
12x12
(Selling for $75.00)

Coming to the Surface (2012)
11x13
(Selling for $50.00)

Sorry about the quality. I'll post better quality photos at a later date.

April First Friday Gallery- Decoding Spaces

Last semester a group of my painting class got together and wanted to do a show. So this semester the Fall 2012 Painting Class got a gallery downtown and has been organizing it all semester. Megan T. was thankfully the head of getting this together, and is amazingly organized and calm. So a big thanks goes to her for pulling this together.

It was an amazing turn out and it was great to see everything hanging in a gallery and not just our studios! I had so much fun with everyone there and was elated to be in a gallery setting with my own work.
